Belluzzo, Rick. "How Technology Shapes Our World." Microsoft. 4 Feb. 2002. Web. 20 Oct. 2010. .

Belluzzo, Rick's article talks about the changes technology has made to our society, and steps we need to take to make sure things keep moving forward and not backward. The source above is useful in showing how we are taking moves in technology as a society, as a whole, and not as individuals.I think that this article explains how we are already making big changes to our society today.

Henderson, Mark. "Scientists Create Artificial Life in Laboratory - Times Online." The Times | UK News, World News and Opinion. 21 May 2010. Web. 10 Oct. 2010. .

The article mentions two artificially created organisms: "a synthetic bacterium nicknamed Synthia" and "a synthetic copy of the genome of a bacterium, Mycoplasma mycoides". Similar to Brave New World, it's only a small step for scientists to have successfully created artificial life, it's only a matter of time when they attempt mass production of humans.

"Television: A Teen-Pregnancy Link - The Year in Medicine 2008 - TIME." Breaking News, Analysis, Politics, Blogs, News Photos, Video, Tech Reviews - TIME.com. 19 Nov. 2008. Web. 11 Oct. 2010.

In Brave New World, society encourages having sex at young ages. Our society today is trying to keep kids from having sex. In our society, you have sex with someone you love, but in Brave New World's society you have it with whoever you want or whoever wants to do it with you. Sex is encouraged. Huxley is saying that, with the exposer people have today, then Brave New World's society will become our own.

Cloning cells of animals and plants has been possible for years but, the world is still split on the decision to support the cloning of humans.  The cloning done in "Brave New world" was only possible with the loss of religion, and in our world today we will not give up our religion, because that's what be believe in. And nobody wants to give up on something that they believe in. I know I don't.

Syque. "Purpose of Emotions." Changing Minds and Persuasion - How We Change What Others Think, Believe, Feel and Do. Web. 10 Oct. 2010.

This article talks about emotions, the people in Brave New World have no emotions because they have drowned their minds in mounds of soma. This makes them unsure of their emotions as well as others, however Bernard is another story as he skips his soma taking opportunities, and starts having emotions, and feelings towards Lenina. But she  doesn't understand Bernard in his distress.
